Some highlights from the past couple of weeks. The children completed:
Project on the history of The Wild Athlantic Way. This was voted on by the rest of the school.
Project on the History of the GAA. Each group has a focus audience and had to design a PowerPoint presentation best suited to that class. They did a great job.
Wrote a recount on the topic of ‘Amazing Animals’ with a focus on the key features of Recount Writing. We also focused on Drafting and Re-Drafting.
Wrote a Halloween Story with a focus on the key features of Narrative Writing.
We have completed 6 weeks of our Friday 10 minute run. There has been great participation in this activity by classes 3rd-6th.
